I receive an e-mail from the chairman of CMU's Concert Board letting me know that he and others in Pittsburgh dig my page. He asks me if I would be interested in photographing the upcoming Broken Social Scene show on campus. Um...let me see...HELL, YEAH! Of the three years of doing this page, this is the first time I would be given a photo pass proper. I would get a ticket to the show, backstage access, and a front of stage spot to take as many pics as I want during the first three tunes of each act. After that I chill and enjoy the show. Saweet! I always thought three songs weren't enough to get all the shots I want but after running through 400+ photos in the time allotted, I found out it was plenty. My thanks to my man Brian for hooking me up and I'll hopefully see you for your spring concert.

Arthur & Yu opened and never even hearing of them before, they surprised me how good they were.

I was thinking, man does their guitarist look familiar? Turns out Dove played with Love As Laughter opening for Band Of Horses earlier in the year.

I wasn't too familiar with Broken Social Scene presents Kevin Drew (that's a mouthful) but they sounded really good and damn if the guy isn't energetic as hell. Very rockin' set!
