St. Vincent Thursday February 21, 2008 The Andy Warhol Museum I was debating on whether to go to this show or not. It was a toss up between seeing her or Vampire Weekend a month before at the museum. Neither of their respective albums were doing anything for me. I chose to see Annie and […]

Considering that Alejandro was scheduled and he was bringing the rock to support his excellent new disc “Real Animal”, it was a rather painless decision…

Instead of a complete wrap-up of a show, I will post one picture and write a short description. Last night’s Old 97’s concert was probably my favorite of the year so far. I checked the band’s message boards this morning and noticed that a fan was upset about an encounter with Ken in Wisconsin…

read more ➜Califone opened up for Iron & Wine last night in Greensburg at The Palace Theater. First off I have to say what a venue. These old refurbished turn of the century movie halls that are hosting shows lately are damned terrific. Sure Greensburg is an hour drive from home but so far it’s by far the coolest place to see a concert. They have an outdoor smoking garden that’s TOO easy to sneak my camera into. Next time!…
