Editor's Note: In my Feist review I came down hard on WYEP-FM. I was being a total baby because I couldn't take pictures during the in-studio. I realize now that taking it out on the people and radio station as a whole was totally bogus on my part. In reflecting about the last year in music, I realize that YEP is somewhat responsible for a majority of the best shows that came to the city. The bands they bring in either through sponsoring shows or providing these cool as hell in-studios are always top-notch. Add the fact that the people who work or represent the station are some of the nicest people I've ever met in the arts community. I truly and sincerely apologize.
This particular in-studio was timed so that I could duck out from work with little coverage needed for my class. The guys in the band were very nice and sounded great in an acoustic format.
