Joy is a Pittsburgh based singer-songwriter who is steadily gaining a following along the East Coast by constantly touring and developing unique methods of marketing her music. She is the author of a blog entitled Grassrootsy that’s a must read for any indie musician and a pleasure for us non-musical types. As of this writing, she is in Europe and was cool enough to participate in this edition of First/Last.

• The Three Rivers Arts Festival is the best thing about Pittsburgh. Hands down!
