Anni opened for Camera Obscura and what struck me was the rapt attention she received from the audience. She came out with her violin and began a very plaintive, hushed set that I thought would be drowned out from crowd chatter within a few minutes. Surprisingly, the room was extremely receptive to her and there was polite, if not outwardly enthusiastic, applause after each ‘precious’ song. More photos here.
