First/Last-The John Trumaine Show

Three guys that hit on things in a fashion that may please the ear. Oh, and we make collages.. Beginning with Joshua Challen and Greg King throwing down some improvised jams during the summer of 2014, The John Trumaine Show has developed into a 3 piece band–adding John Lora– and expanded its vision into a fully formed Psychedelic Rock Band that incorporates a community of artists of all kinds to achieve a truly unique sound and presence…

Misaligned Mind is the passionate, Post Modern Renaissance Rock Spaceship band centered around the ground-breaking guitar and creative talents of Zack Wiesinger. Already notorious around the globe, Zack has garnered national and international attention while single-handedly opening the show for Guitar Legend Steve Vai on his 2006-07 Sound Theories Tour spanning Europe and the U.S. The West Mifflin native had his coming out party at the 2006 IBC in Memphis while taking the coveted “Albert King Award” for most promising guitarist. Not to mention his jaw-dropping performance at the Guitar Center King of The Blues finals in Los Angeles; which had YouTube buzzing for months…

First/Last-The Neffs

“The Neffs began in the basement of Jake and Gordy’s parents’ house in Pittsburgh after a long journey around the world with their family as Air Force kids. The two are brothers and have been playing music together for about 5 years. Jake was in various bands in high school playing bass and guitar as well as composing tons of what would later become Neffs songs. Gordy picked up saxophone in high school and went on to study formally in college while teaching himself how to play drums and guitar. The two met good friend and bassist Chris when they used to play with the (now defunct, RIP) Pittsburgh-based band “The Beauregards”, whom Chris was playing bass for, and recruited him as their full time bassist around the fall of 2012. They have been very involved in the Pittsburgh underground scene and have played with established artists such as Wild Nothing, Celestial Shore, Ava Luna, and Rah Rah.”…

First/Last-The Weathered Road

“Whether The Weathered Road is performing live or writing music, the word that would build the Word Cloud would be PASSION. Willing to Fall is the second release by The Weathered Road. A drastic departure from the “bluegrass” and pure “folk” sounds of their first album, “A New Road Home”, “Willing to Fall” is more Folk-Rock and Americana in nature. Tracks like “I Will”, are gaining national attention, with catchy hooks and memorable lyrics. The chorus belts, “happiness is having what you want, and wanting what you have, everything I love fits in my hands, so I am a wealthy man”. It truly comes from the heart.”…

First/Last-Ferdinand the Bull

“This story started in a basement in Kutztown, PA. Over one inspired, turbulent summer home from the University of
Pittsburgh, Nick decided it was time the world heard his stories. He wrote a collection of acoustic-based songs with the modest goal of sharing them with anyone who would listen. Calling upon neighborhood friend Evan for musical depth, Nick got down to business in his parents’ home and recorded the tunes: what would become the Ella EP. Upon their return to Pitt, the pair showed their work to school friend and fellow musician/cellist Dan and his friend Mike Dice to fill out the sound, and the quartet began its musical journey together.”…

First/Last-Wolves in Sheep’s Clothing

“WISC originally consisted of the acoustic duo of Jason Gamble and Brendon Bassler, who began playing together in 2011. After building and performing a large repertoire of original music (primarily written by Jason Gamble) the need for the group to expand became more evident. Over the next few years, the group gigged with several different musicians, finally settling on their current lineup in December of 2013 – with Josh Williams on percussion, and Nick Adams on double bass. The
goal had always been to have a brush oriented drum player, and an upright bass player to incorporate elements of jazz into the compositions.”…

First/Last-Life Leone

Born in the jungles of Laos and raised on an arts and farming commune outside of Joshua Tree in the California desert, Life Leone got a crash course in guitar as a teenager from Nicky Hopkins of The Kinks. A quick study and natural fluency with music soon led to several years touring around the world as a drummer and guitar player of a variety of bands. Playing everywhere between hole-in-the-wall bars across the United States to the stage of Ozzfest, Life’s path took one turn after another and he ended up living in Da Nang, Vietnam…
